Superpower

The Skin Barrier Restorer — Grass-fed beef tallow mirrors the fatty acid composition of human skin, making it a superior emollient, protector, and barrier restorer for dry, damaged, or inflamed skin.

Cautions

Allergic Reactions: While rare, those with beef allergies may experience sensitivity.

Animal Sourcing: Ensure the source is grass-fed and finished to avoid contaminants found in conventionally raised animals.

Oxidation: Store in a cool, dark place to avoid rancidity. Beef Tallow is highly stable.

Known Chemical Constituents

Fatty Acids: Palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, myristic acid, palmitoleic acid.

Vitamins: Vitamin A, D, E, and K (fat-soluble vitamins) to support skin health and immunity.

Cholesterol: Natural cholesterol supports healthy, flexible skin barrier function.

Botanical Description

Source: Organic Grass-fed and finished beef tallow is obtained from the fat (suet) surrounding the kidneys and loins of pasture-raised, grass-fed cattle. The fat is rendered (melted down) and purified into a creamy, nutrient-rich substance.
Color and Texture: Creamy white to pale yellow in color with a smooth, firm texture at room temperature. It becomes soft and oil-like when warmed.
Scent: Mild, clean, neutral in scent, depending on the purification process.

Fun Facts

Unlike many plant-based oils, beef tallow is highly stable and resistant to oxidation due to its saturated fat content, making it shelf-stable for long periods without preservatives.
