Anti-rheumatic

Anti-rheumatic agents work by reducing inflammation, improving circulation, and supporting the detoxification processes that can contribute to rheumatic conditions. Many herbs with anti-rheumatic properties have anti-inflammatory, diuretic, or detoxifying effects. Nettle (Urtica dioica) is traditionally used to reduce joint inflammation and promote detoxification. Devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens) is well-known for its ability to relieve pain and inflammation in arthritis and other joint-related conditions. Willow bark (Salix spp.), rich in salicin, provides relief from joint pain and stiffness. These herbs are often incorporated into holistic approaches to support joint health, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being.
