Anti-tumorogenic

Anti-tumorogenic agents work by targeting processes that contribute to abnormal cell growth, such as inflammation, oxidative stress, and angiogenesis (the formation of new blood vessels that feed tumors). These substances may also enhance the immune system’s ability to detect and destroy abnormal cells. Herbs with anti-tumorogenic properties are often rich in bioactive compounds. Turmeric (Curcuma longa), with its curcumin content, is renowned for its ability to inhibit inflammatory pathways and tumor progression. Green tea (Camellia sinensis) contains catechins that prevent oxidative damage and slow cancer cell proliferation. Reishi mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum) is celebrated for its immune-modulating and anti-tumorogenic properties. These herbs are often integrated into holistic wellness approaches to support the body’s natural defenses against tumor formation.
