Morning sickness

Morning sickness is a common experience for many pregnant individuals, characterized by nausea, queasiness, and sometimes vomiting, often in the morning but potentially at any time of the day. It is usually linked to elevated levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and other hormonal shifts. Herbal remedies like ginger (Zingiber officinale) and *peppermint (Mentha × piperita) are traditionally used to alleviate nausea. Small, frequent meals, staying hydrated, and consuming bland foods like crackers can also help manage symptoms. Severe cases, known as hyperemesis gravidarum, may require medical attention.
